Emily Hudson - Founder of Hudsons Hampshire Hounds
Emily Hudson is the founder of Hudson’s Hampshire Hounds and a lifelong animal lover with a talent for turning passion into action. She began her journey caring for pets through apps like Rover and Cat in a Flat, initially as a side job. What started as occasional dog walks and cat visits quickly grew into a deep love for caring for animals, and in 2023 she took the leap to start her own company.
Alongside her love for pets, Emily has a passion for the performing arts. She has been performing in theatre for years, bringing creativity, energy, and a touch of drama into everything she does whether that’s choreographing a “treat dance” for a deserving dog, making up songs for each pup or narrating a cat’s epic adventures with flair.
At the heart of her work is a commitment to making animals feel loved, safe, and happy. Every walk, visit, or wedding chaperone is approached with care, attention, and a little theatrical fun, ensuring pets feel secure while their owners enjoy complete peace of mind.
Nicola Thomson - Dog Walker
Nicola Thomson joined Hudson's Hampshire Hounds in 2026. Nicola is a mum of three (2 children and 1 cocker spaniel!) with a lifelong love of dogs. After many years of working in corporate tech, Nicola has made the leap to combine family life with a career built around dogs, health, wellbeing, and the outdoors! In addition, she is also cur
Nicola Thomson joined Hudson's Hampshire Hounds in 2026. Nicola is a mum of three (2 children and 1 cocker spaniel!) with a lifelong love of dogs. After many years of working in corporate tech, Nicola has made the leap to combine family life with a career built around dogs, health, wellbeing, and the outdoors! In addition, she is also currently studying to become a Personal Trainer; she plans to combine both dog walking and Personal Training once qualified later this year.
Nicola understands how important it is to trust someone with your dog, and and treats every walk with the same care and attention she would for her own. Being organised, dependable, and attentive comes naturally to Nicola, and she prides herself on clear communication and consistency. For Nicola, dog walking isn’t just about exercise—it’s about happy, safe dogs and peace of mind for their owners.
